Sail Canada Youth Championships of 2019 is going to be held at CORK International at POH or Portsmouth Olympic Harbour at Ontario. This contest for the top youth from Canada is going to take place from 12th-16th August. Four days of racing for 5boats, 29er, Laser Radial, Club 420, Laser 4.7, and  i420.

The annual event of Sail Canada Youth Championships is bringing the top youth sailors of the country together. The primary aim of the event is to make opportunities for development for all young sailors by providing racing experience and training, develop officials by training, and give the award for Youth National Champions.

The event serves an opportunity to identify talent for provincial and national coaches. Recently Sail Canada Youth Championship had taken place in Royal Canadian Yacht at Ontario in Toronto. Here, more than 114 boats had been completed.

Sail Canada Youth Championships of the year 2019 is to be one of the qualifying events for the Sailing Youth World Championship for 2020. Along with Youth Championship Sail Canada is also going to host the YOTS or Youth Olympic Training Seminar from9th-11th August at POH. YOTS serve as an opportunity for the topmost young sailors of Canada to take part in water sessions. They can also get involved in debriefs with experts and guest coaches.

It is the 50th anniversary of CORK and annually welcomes the top competitors from around the country and also across the globe for regattas and training every year in September and August. The largest sailing regatta of Canada continues grabbing the attention of the best events of the world. 43 World Championship will be held in Portsmouth Olympic Harbour or POH apart from continental andthe national class championship that is to be held there.
