Our Story

In the fall of 2007 a group of friend met up in a living room in Tempe, Arizona and created Dry River Yacht Club. We mixed together an assortment of musical references and high energy execution to create a sound that’s eclectic and entirely our own. Now it’s 5 ½ years later and we’ve invested countless hours playing late gigs, touring in broken down minivans, and coping with lineup changes, and yet our collective musical heart beats stronger than ever.

Everything about DRYC is a collaborative effort, from songwriting to promotion and business. We’re in this for our love of music, and the only compensation we each take home is the thrill and enjoyment of playing together in front of a crowd. All the money we receive is deposited into the band bank account and used for gas money for out-of-town shows, replacing strings and other equipment, recording costs, merchandise and all the other band expenses that come up.

That’s why we’re calling out those who understand our passion, asking you to have faith and help fund our current recording project. Even though we’re still in the production phase of this new album our sound and reputation are well-established, and in exchange for your support we’re offering limited edition merchandise and personal experiences with the band.
